Notes. The species shows intraspecific colour variation of the posterior wings, with specimens showing either red or orange markings on the disc. The specimen from Surat Thani Province was observed on Alstonia scholaris R. Br. (Apocynaceae) (new plant association) and the specimens from the other localities were collected from unknown plants in the families Meliaceae and Sapindaceae. Kanchanaburi Province represents the northernmost limit of the distribution for this species so far. As it is distributed along the Tenasserim range, the species might also be present in Myanmar.
