Strategies to combat heat stress in poultry production—A review

A review article dealing with different startegies to mitigate heat stress in poultry production. Authors describe physiological, biological and behavioural mechanisms used by chickens to cope with heat stress. Suesequently an impact of heat stress on chicken and poultry production is discussed. Finally different startegies to cope with high ambient temperatures are presented.
