Description
Avocettina infans (Günther 1878) — Avocet snipe eel
Status at New Ireland. New record, from north of New Hanover, based on NTUM material (1 specimen, St. CP 4448-15).
Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 1.—General distribution: Circumglobal in tropical seas. Bathypelagic, 743-4580 m depth. Marine.
