Mit dem Konzept der unternehmerischen Universitäten hat Henry Etzkowitz eine Möglichkeit zur Institutionalisierung anwendungsorientierter Formen der Wis‐ senserzeugung entwickelt. Darin wird die traditionsreiche Trennung zwischen Forschung und Lehre überwunden und durch das Element der Praxis ergänzt. Anhand theorieorientierter qualitativer Untersuchungen werden in dieser Arbeit Entwicklungstendenzen in Richtung einer unternehmerischen Universität am Standort Oldenburg rekonstruiert.
With the concept of entrepreneurial universities, Henry Etzkowitz shaped the op‐ portunity of institutionalizing application‐oriented forms of production of knowledge. It in‐ volves overcoming the separation of education and research as well as adding the element of entrepreneurship. In this investigation, tendencies of a development towards an entre‐ preneurial university can be reconstructed using the example of the University of Oldenburd.
