L'IMPACT DU RAPPORT À L'ÉCRIT SUR LES PRATIQUES LITTÉRACIQUES EN LANGUE ÉTRANGÈRE, EN CONTEXTE ALGÉRIEN / THE IMPACT OF THE WRITTEN REPORT ON LITERACY PRACTICES IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE IN THE ALGERIAN CONTEXT

Résumé: Cet article explore l’hypothèse selon laquelle le rapport à l’écrit d’un élève peut influencer ses manières à aborder l’écrit dans une langue étrangère. L’étude se déroule en contexte plurilingue algérien et a pour butde mettre la lumière, en particulier sur l’appropriation/ désappropriation scripturale en langue française. Elle adopte une méthode à la fois empirique et qualitative, sur un échantillon réduit, et ouvre des perspectives sociolinguistiques et didactiques à explorer à plus grande échelle sur le lien entre représentations de l’écrit et performances scolaires.

Abstract: This article explores the hypothesis according to which a student's relationship with writing can influence his or her ways of approaching writing in a foreign language. The study takes place in a multilingual Algerian context and aims to shed light, in particular on scriptural appropriation/disappropriation in the French language. It adopts a method that is both empirical and qualitative, on a small sample, and opens up sociolinguistic and didactic perspectives to explore on a larger scale on the link between representations of writing and school performance.
