DEVELOPING PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE BASED ON CORPUS

Description

This paper discusses how corpus-based language learning can be used to develop  professional communicative competence in second language learners. Corpus-based language learning involves analyzing authentic language use to identify patterns and regularities in language use. The paper explores the benefits of using corpora to develop  professional communicative competence, including gaining insights into real-world language use, developing an awareness of register and genre, identifying common collocations and idiomatic expressions, and developing grammatical competence. The paper also discusses the importance of personalized language learning activities tailored to individual needs and interests
