SH33C-3067 Accelerating Open Science in Heliophysics Research
Authors/Creators
Description
We will present an outline of the Heliophysics Digital Resource Library's (HDRL) strategy to accelerate the practice of Open Science in Heliophysics. The goals are to understand the current baseline of Open Science practices in Heliophysics, create rubrics to measure and methods to recognize compliance efforts with open science goals, define what the Open Science best practices should be in various scenarios, and collect feedback from the community on what infrastructure needs to be built to enable Open Science in Heliophysics for multiple use cases. Feedback on HDRL's Open Science strategy is highly valued and will be collected during the conference using modern asynchronous and anonymous approaches (e.g. a QR code to a miro board https://miro.com/ or padlet https://padlet.com/).
