Description

HVDC-WISE project aims to propose and validate methodologies to plan reliable and resilient hybrid AC/DC systems. For this, it is needed to know which elements will be available to build the system and what are their potential benefits and limitations. This document describes building blocks (defined here as “an equipment that can be considered during the planning
process”) and possible technologies to build them. It also provides considerations on technology readiness levels and how these building blocks and technologies are related to architectures, reliability, and resilience.
