ABSTRACT

The use of drones in last mile logistics for deliveries has gained increasing popularity in recent years. This paper examines the advantages and limitations associated with drone deliveries and addresses the question of whether drones are the future of last mile logistics. It highlights the factors that need to be resolved or considered before drone delivery can become mainstream. Additionally, this paper investigates the environmental impact of drone deliveries, specifically focusing on the amount of CO2 emissions saved compared to other types of deliveries. By analyzing existing research and industry insights, this paper provides a comprehensive understanding of the potential of drones in last mile logistics and the challenges that need to be addressed for their widespread adoption.
