UNITA common collaborative digital platform

This deliverable is a software in English language, which already has some services available

in all UNITA languages, while others are going to pe further updated in order to include UNITA

languages as well. UNITA common collaborative digital platform is now accessible online at

this link: https://unitassotest.uvt.ro. The software is also put in a repository to be downloadable

as opensource software at this link: https://github.com/UNITA-Project/virtual-campus-apps.

The UNITA Virtual Campus, #UVC, will be a large scale educational, research and

management information system, designed to accommodate federated services for a diverse

and dynamic academic community. Its innovative construction is focused on the interconnection

of services and infrastructures. As such the #UVC provides a unified entry point

for users to access digital services and user-generated content according to their access level.

Also, the #UVC concept is based exclusively on open source technologies. The open-source

model for #UVC, is a decentralized software-development approach that encourages

collaboration. The source code, blueprints, and documentation are available for people of

interest. Open-source persuades the development of new features to overcome potential

limitations, share solutions and invite new collaborators in solving existing or potential issues

with the product. The functional prototype for the #UVC will put an emphasize on its security,

flexibility and scalability aspects both on the applications side and the number of users.
