Description

Statue of Saint Donatus from 1730 on the main square of Großweikersdorf. Donatus von Münstereifel was a Roman army commander and is venerated as a saint in the Catholic Church. Donatus is usually depicted as a Roman soldier. His attributes include sheaves of grain, palms, lightning bolts or knives.
