ENVRI-FAIR D4.5: Updated policy landscape in ENVRI domain

This document provides an assessment of the progress from 2020-2023 in developing FAIR data policies within ENVRI-FAIR environmental research infrastructures. In particular, it is a comparison with D4.2 which provided the initial landscape survey is given. The text describes the progress made in advancing ENVRI research infrastructures towards FAIRness, and the diagrams provide ‘heat maps’ where the colour indicates the state. The conclusion is that much progress has been achieved, but – as always – there is more that could be done, with varying amounts to be done in the different RIs. It is of particular importance that progress on the ‘legal policies’ has been rapid and is almost completed for the RIs of ENVRI.
