Big Indian Rock Petroglyphs 1 (middle left)

This is a partial LiDAR scan of Big Indian Rock (middle left of the 40'x60' boulder) located in Safe Harbor, PA. The scan was performed by an iPhone 13. Did you know that one of Pennsylvania's most significant archaeological sites is in Lancaster County? Hidden in plain sight in the middle of the Susquehanna River, a half-mile below Safe Harbor dam, is the millennium-old petroglyphs of Little Indian Rock and Big Indian Rock.
