The comparison of law systems and institutions of different states is a necessary science to enrich knowledge and to take a critical approach to one's own legal system. Thus, we intend to make in this paper a legislative comparison of different countries and we will refer to the institution of the insolvency institution in general, as well as the profession of authorized administrator, in particular. The set targets in this regard are: studying the insolvency legislation of countries such as Romania, France, the Russian Federation, China and the USA; identifying the legislative differences between the laws of the countries listed above, on the one hand, and the Republic of Moldova, on the other hand; outlining the difficulties in applying in practice the norms related to the profession of authorized administrator; perspective approach (social, political, economic and cultural) to introduce in the legal system of the Republic of Moldova the regulations of other countries.
