Description: 'Pa-quo ta'capta' duck effigy bowl, with lightly stone polished exterior and interior; red paste from west side of Hotevilla Mesa; Decoration: black 'eyes', wing, and tail feathers, red beak. Length 5 7/8' (15cm); Width 2 1/2' (6.4cm); rim wall 1/4' (.65cm); capacity 1/4 cup vermiculite. Made by Vera Pooyouma and dung-fired. Signed 'V.P.' Wyckoff no. 151. $10.00. Hopi, Old Oraibi, 3rd Mesa, Arizona, Southwest.
