Sancreed Cross ("Sancreed 2")
Description
Here is a textured 3D capture of "Sancreed 2" - a medieval cross in the churchyard of Sancreed Church, Cornwall. Prof Charles Thomas dated this to the 12th century. Note the decorations. There is an indistinct inscription incised into the lower panel of the side depicting Christ.
Find out more about the cross here: http://www.ucl.ac.uk/archaeology/cisp/database/stone/scred_2.html

Next time I visit I will take a monopod so that I can reach the top of the cross...
