Sceilig Mhichíl is an island west of the Iveragh Peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland. The island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is best known for its well-preserved, medieval Gaelic monastery. The island is also known as the [filming site](https://youtu.be/g_0lk8BY0Vk) of Star Wars Episode VII "The Force Awakens".
