Dog femur from the wreck of the Earl Of Abergavenny. ID: EOA:2022.90 Collection: Earl of Abergavenny Classification: Remains Measurements: Length 135mm Width 35mm Date made: as yet unknown Display: not on display Manufacturer/Creator: as yet unknown Credit: Portland Museum Trust This femur is one of several dog bones recovered and suspected to be from the same animal. Comparisons with modern breeds suggest it to be from a terrier sized dog.
