Description

A Roman sarcophagi made around 2nd-3rd AD. Originally found in the nearby roman settlement and millitary camp of Brigetio, now displayed in a public square in Komárom, Hungary. One side of it is engraved with a local motive. The Roman emperor, Valentinian I appareantly rustled his Jimmies to death in Brigetio after a particularly heated meeting with the envoys of the local Quadi tribe. About 76 photos were taken with a Samsung S10+ smartphone, processed in Agisoft Metashape and edited in Blender afterwards. Measurments were taken from a book about the local roman archeological finds. https://mek.oszk.hu/09400/09424/09424.pdf It's in hungarian but it contains some epitaph's in latin.
