Description

This is a model (3.0) of the high resolution photogrammetry passes from Deep Discoverer (D2) Remotely Operated Vehicle onboard NOAA's Ship Okeanos Explorer. These data were collected during NOAA Cruise EX1803, Dive 02. This shipwreck site is located in the Gulf of Mexico and was named the Thunderhawk Wreck. This appears to be the remains of a small runabout or lifeboat sized watercraft. 3D Model was developed by BOEM Marine Archaeologist Scott Sorset.
