Pyhimyksen pää - Head of a Saint

TMK21816:KP17233 Puusta tehty pyhimystä esittävä pää, joka todennäköisesti on muinoin ollut koristeena tuolin päädyssä tai käsi-nojassa. Pää löytyi Åbo Akademin arkeologisilta kaivauksilta vuonna 1998 1400-luvun alkupuolella asuinkäytössä olleen rakennuksen lattiarakenteiden alta. A head made from wood thought to depict a saint, which formerly was probably attached to an armrest or onto the back of a chair. This head was found during the excavation at Åbo Akademi University in 1998 and likely dates back to the medieval period as it was found under floorboarding dated to the early 15th century.
