Description

Aethalura ignobilis (Butler), ab.

(Fig. 8)

Myrioblephara nanaria, nec (Staudinger): Beljaev & Mironov 2019: 244 (Sakhalin).

Material examined. 1 ♀, S Kholmsk, 27.VI.2018.

Remarks. The report of “ Myrioblephara nanaria ” from Sakhalin (Beljaev & Mironov 2019, 2021) was based on the unusually small aberrant specimen of A. ignobilis, which possesses distinct uninterrupted transverse lines on the wings, close reminiscent to those of M. nanaria. Re-examination of the specimen revealed the erroneous identification.
