Polygonal Axe
Description
The front half of a polygonal axe from Hallsberg parish, Närke. Polygonal axes were ceremonial axes associated with the Funnel Beaker Culture. The appear during the Early Neolithic,c:a 4000-3300 BC. The axe has been broken off by the shaft hole, and the base half is missing.
