18th Century Pistol Replica
Description
3d scan of replica of pistols commonly used by Presidio Soldiers (or Soldados) during the late 18th centruy in the Southwest. Soldados had Pistolas (pistols) in their arsenal as well as muskets. The pistolas also consisted of flintlock mechanisms. A pareja (brace or pair) of Pistolas were primarily carried in holsters attached to the saddle. Some had belt hooks attached to them and could be carried on the soldado's belt. However, they were heavy and would pull down on the belt making it uncomfortable.
