Description

First observation of Southern Small White Pieris mannii (Mayer, 1851) (Lepidoptera: Pieridae) in Poland.

The paper presents first observation of Southern Small White Pieris mannii (Mayer, 1851) in Poland. The species has been observed in the locality of Lubiniecko [WT38] within the Łagów Lake District. The observation is consequence of the expansion of the species in the Western and Central Europe, especially in Germany, which has been ongoing for last 20 years.
