En los años 90 ya surgieron las primeras herramientas que facilitaban el uso de objetos digitales. Este artículo resume los principales identificadores de publicaciones que es conveniente conocer (URL, URN,URI, NIPO, ISSN, ISBN, DOI...).

The need to identify digital objects in a unique way dates back to the beginnings of the Internet. In the 90s, the first tools that facilitated the use of digital objects emerged.
