Setanta rufipes Cameron, 1901
Material. Indonesia: C Sulawesi, Lore-Lindu N.P., nr. Dongi-Dongi, c 1010 m, 1°15´S 120°20´E, Mal. trap 2, 6 ♂♂ 4–9.xii.1985, leg. C. van Achterberg (Leiden).
Remarks. Body length 12–13 mm. Flagellum with 37 flagellomeres. Tyloids on flagellomeres 11–19. Legs mainly black; fore and mid coxae and trochanters ivory; hind coxa black, with ivory dorsal spot; fore femur, tibia and tarsus ivory frontally; mid femur apically and mid tibia basally ± ivory; hind tibia with subbasal ivory spot or ring. The colour of legs is much darker in the specimens from Java and Sulawesi compared to the Indian types of Setanta rufipes (see Heinrich 1974a: 441–443). It is not clear yet, if the Indonesian material might represent a different subspecies or separate species.
Distribution. Known from India and Java, new record for Sulawesi.
