Hydraena occidentalis Perkins 1980: 78
The new records below document two new localities, including the first record for Baja California, and a new depository for identified specimens of this species. The currently known distribution is from British Columbia, south thru Washington, Oregon and California to Baja California.
New records: U.S.A.: California: Orange Co., San Juan Canyon, 16.vii.1979, leg. C. N. McKinnon (1 TAMU); Mexico: Baja California, Sur, Sierra Laguna, La Laguna, 17 air mi. ENE Todos Santos!, 12–18.xii.1979, leg. J. Doyen & W. Tschinkel (3 MCZ).
