Description

The aim of these Open Education Resources (OERs) is to promote critical thinking and media literacy by engaging users in interactive games that simulate the creation and dissemination of fake news, political polarization, and the spread of misinformation. These games provide a hands-on experience that helps users recognize and resist manipulation and misinformation in the digital age. By immersing players in scenarios related to fake news production, political tactics, misinformation spread during the COVID pandemic, logical fallacies, and responsible journalism, these OERs aim to enhance users' ability to evaluate information critically, make informed decisions, and become more discerning consumers of online content. The interactive OER is available at this link: https://view.genial.ly/64ed29b9401ff70012eb0d7a | This OER was developed in collaboration between: "Mihai Viteazul" National Intelligence Academy  (MVNIA) - Romania, Cyberimaginario Research Group of Rey Juan Carlos University - Spain, L-Università ta' Malta and New Strategy Center - Romania.
