POLYCYSTIC OVARY SYNDROME (PCOS) SURGERY: AN OVERVIEW
Description
The most frequent reasons of ovulatory failure and the resulting infertility is polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). It is characterised by the development of several small cysts in the ovaries, decreased ovulation function, androgen excess, obesity, hypersecretion of luteinizing hormone, and infertility as a relatively prevalent condition in women during their reproductive years.
