Abstract: The current study aimed to identify the requirements and challenges of applying strategic planning. To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher used a questionnaire tool that was applied using the descriptive analytical approach to the study sample, which consisted of workers in the financial department in the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity, who numbered (160). The results of the study concluded that: The application of strategic planning in the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity reached a moderate degree of application.

متطلبات وتحديات تطبيق التخطيط الاستراتيجي
ملخص الدراسة:هدفت الدراسة الحالية الي التعرف على متطلبات وتحديات تطبيق التخطيط الاستراتيجي، ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة استخدم الباحث أداة الاستبانة التي طبقتها باستخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي على عينة الدراسة التي تكونت من العاملين في القسم المالي في وزارة الكهرباء العراقية والبالغ عددهم (160)، وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة الي أن تطبيق التخطيط الإستراتيجي في وزارة الكهرباء العراقية جاء بدرجة تطبيق متوسطة. وفي ضوء النتائج أوصت الدراسة بضرورة إعادة النظر بأسس تطبيق التخطيط الإستراتيجي في وزارة الكهرباء العراقية وتوفير كافة متطلباته، وكذلك تحفيز وتشجيع الإدارة والعاملين على تطبيق التخطيط الإستراتيجي في وزارة الكهرباء العراقية بشكل أوسع وبما يحقق أهداف المؤسسة من خلال مناقشة النتائج المتوقعة وأثرها المستقبلي على المؤسسة في حال تطبيقها.
