Figure 2 - ML phylogeny estimate of the bee species of the Azores archipelago based on 657 nucleotides of the COI gene; sequences of Azorean samples in red, those from other regions in black; the phylogeny is rooted on the Azorean invasive Vespula germanica; for sequences downloaded from GenBank, the accession numbers are given, for new Azorean sequences we give the collection number of TUM; the two species Megachile concinna and Hylaeus azorae are missing in the tree because of lack of material from the Azores for sequencing and lack of sequences from other sources.
