TimeJump-Kids an Arctic Explanations Video

TimeJump-kids explanatory videos are first impressions for children from the age of 8 on how it could be that Spitsbergen once migrated from the southern hemisphere of the earth to the north. Children ask questions vicariously and thus understand a 900 million year old history in geology.
The production was funded by the German Society for Polar Research and realised with young creatives.
con TEXT Manuela Brocksieper is responsible for the production, graphics and conception. Inspired by the Timeless Arctic expedition experienced in the Arctic summer of 2022, the geoscientist wanted to present her impressions in a new and fresh way.

Zeitsprung-kids Erklärvideos sind erste Eindrücke für Kinder ab 8 Jahren dazu, wie es wohl kommt, dass Spitzbergen einmal von der Südhalbkugel der Erde bis in den Norden gewandert ist. Kinder fragen stellvertretend und verstehen so eine 900 Millionen Jahre alte Zeitgeschichte in der Geologie.
Die Produktion wurde von der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Polarforschung gefördert und mit jungen Kreativen realisiert.
