Three-dimensional Cardiovascular Imaging-Genetics: A Mass Univariate Framework

This repository contains clinical and imaging data used in the paper:

Regarding the repository content:

  • clinicalData.RDS is a 1124x11 matrix which contains in its columns the gender, age, body surface area, systolic blood pressure data of the 1124 healthy caucasian subjects studied in the paper. The last six columns store the subjects' posterior estimate of the allele frequency of the 6 SNPs investigated.
  • imagingData.RDS is a 1124x27623 matrix that contains in its columns the subjects' epicardial wall thickness values at all the 27623 epicardial vertices of the left ventricular (LV) atlas under study.
  • The results of the paper can be replicated by using the R package provided at https://github.com/UK-Digital-Heart-Project/mutools3D. In order to do that, we also provide areas.rds and NNmatrix.rds files which contain arrays to be used as A and NNmatrix parameters of the package functions. LVmyo_ED.vtk is a VTK file containing the LV atlas mesh that can be visualized using Paraview software and used for output visualization together with endo_epi.txt which contains a matrix storing in its first three columns the coordinates of each atlas vertex, while in the fourth column a flag specifies whether the vertex belongs to the epicardium (1) or the endocardium (0).
