Synonyms: Allorchestes niger Haswell, 1879.

Type locality: Clark Island, Port Jackson, Australia.

Distribution. World: Australia (Haswell 1879), India (Sivaprakasam 1969a).

India: South India Ecoregion: Tamil Nadu (Sivaprakasam 1969a); Northern Bay of Bengal Ecoregion: Bay of Bengal (Surya Rao 1972).

Genus: Parhyale Stebbing, 1897
