Type locality: Gulf of Mannar, Tamil Nadu, India.

Synonyms: Lembos quadrimanus Sivaprakasam, 1970; Lembos waipio Ledoyer, 1972.

Distribution. World: India (Sivaprakasam 1970b).

India: South India Ecoregion: Tamil Nadu (Sivaprakasam 1970b as Lembos quadrimanus Sivaprakasam, 1970).

Genus: Grandidierella Coutière, 1904
