Description

104. Platyscelus serratulus Stebbing, 1888 Type locality: Indian Ocean, near Zanzibar and the Mediterranean Sea, near Messina. Synonyms: Eutyphis serratus Claus, 1879; Platyscelus dubius Shoemaker, 1925.

Distribution. World: North Atlantic Ocean (Stebbing 1888), Gulf of Mexico (Felder & Camp 2009), Greece (Koukouras 2010), New Zealand (Webber et al. 2010), India (Pillai 1965b).

India: Western India Ecoregion: Maharashtra (Pillai 1965b); Kerala (Pillai 1965b); South India Ecoregion: Kerala (Pillai 1965b); Tamil Nadu (Pillai 1965b); Maldives Ecoregion: Lakshadweep (Pillai 1965b).

Genus: Tetrathyrus Claus, 1879
