213. Elasmopus brasiliensis (Dana, 1853)

Type locality: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Synonyms: Elasmopus besnardi Oliveira, 1951; Gammarus brasiliensis Dana, 1853.

Distribution. World: Brazil (Dana 1853), Caribbean Sea, Colombia (Miloslavich et al. 2010), North Atlantic Ocean (Borges et al. 2010), India (Surya Rao 1972).

India: Western India Ecoregion: Arabian Sea (Surya Rao 1972).

Remarks: Report from India requires confirmation.
