Type locality: Pamban Coast, Tamil Nadu, India.

Synonyms: Eurystheus anomalus Rabindranath, 1971; Eurystheus dubius Rabindranath, 1974.

Distribution. World: India (Rabindranath 1971a)

India: South India Ecoregion: Tamil Nadu (Rabindranath 1971a as Eurystheus anomalus Rabindranath, 1971). Northern Bay of Bengal: Bay of Bengal (Surya Rao 1972 as Gammaropsis anomalus Rabindranath, 1969).
