Distribution. World: India (Ranindranath 1971a).

India: South India Ecoregion: Tamil Nadu (Rabindranath 1971a); Northern Bay of Bengal: Bay of Bengal (Surya Rao 1972 as Microprotopus bicuspidata Rabindranath 1969).
