53. Nototropis falcatus (Metzger, 1871)

Type locality: Heligoland, Germany.

Synonyms: Atylus falcatus Metzger, 1871; Atylus uncinatus G.O. Sars, 1883; Paratylus unciatus G.O. Sars, 1883.

Distribution. World: Germany (Metzger 1871), Belgium (Cattrijsse & Vincx 2001), North Atlantic Ocean (Bellan-Santini & Costello 2001), Bay of Biscay (Bachelet et al. 2003), Ireland (Guiry & Guiry 2011), India (Thilagavathi et al. 2013).

India: South India Ecoregion: Tamil Nadu (Thilagavathi et al. 2013 as Atylus falcatus Metzger, 1871).

Remarks: Report from India requires confirmation.
