7. Lecithocera lucernata Meyrick, 1913

Lecithocera lucernata Meyrick, 1913: 294; Ghesquière 1940: 58; Janse 1954: 343 (Leviptera Janse, 1954); Park & De Prins 2019b: 73; Park et al. 2021: 359.

Type locality: South Africa, Pretoria; Type depository: holotype male in TMSA.

Distribution. DR Congo (Ghesquière 1940), Namibia (Park & De Prins 2019b), South Africa (Meyrick 1913).

Remarks. This species was reported from DR Congo by Ghesquière (1940) based on material collected from Elisabethville (leg. Seydel). The male genitalia were illustrated by Janse (1954, Pl. 142, Fig. 1; Pl. 152, Fig. 3; Pl. 174, Fig. 6), and the female genitalia by Park & De Prins (2019b, Fig. 6B).
