  • 3. Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, Staatliche Museen zu Berlin Münzkabinett

Description

CORPUS NUMMORUM indexes ancient Greek coins from various landscapes across collections and develops typologies. The coins and coin types are published on the multilingual website www.corpus-nummorum.eu using numismatic authority data and FAIR principles. As part of the project, the Editor was developed as a multifunctional web app that can fully handle the project's data entry workflow and provides extensive search functions as well as various evaluation options. This open-source tool has a modular structure. As a result, the CN Editor can be quickly extended with new functions or adapted to other object types, which makes it interesting for projects beyond numismatics.
