Risk assessment of occurence of rabies in the Slovak Republic
Description
Rabies is the acute viral disease of central nervous system of warm-blooded animals, which affect domestic and wildlife animals; is zoonosis, transmissible on human. It is one of the oldest known infectious diseases of animals and humans. Disease process of each of cases is practically fatal. Rabies has globally dissemination on the present. The rabies occurrence on Slovak territory proves the effectivennes of the performance of oral vaccination of the reservoir species – the red fox.
