MORPHOLOGICAL CHANGES OF THE KIDNEY IN INFANTS WHO DIED FROM ASPIRATION SYNDROME
- 1. Urgench branch of Tashkent Medical Academy
Description
Aspiration syndrome in infants is still an urgent topic of study in neonatology, much less attention has been paid to postnatal aspiration in newborns and infants, despite its clinical significance. A total of 72 newborns who died in the early neonatal period and their renal tissue material were received at the Republican Center of Pathological Anatomy in the neonatal period 2018-2022.
It was found that in infants with aspiration syndrome in the period up to 7 days due to renal hypoxia caused by deformation of glomerular formation, the proliferative activity of mesangial cells in the glomerular structures increases.
In infants of the early neonatal period (period up to 0-7 days), the kidney was born with intrauterine pneumonia, as a result of aspiration syndrome, the development of segmental necrotic nephrosis foci was observed in the kidneys of newborns dying within 3 days.
