Possibilidades didáticas da monitoria acadêmica na formação de professores | Didactic possibilities of academic monitoring in teacher training

This is an essay about the aspects related to the processes of academic monitoring and teaching internship. The text is part of a research that deals with a section of a larger study about the monitoring in the physical education course at the Pará State University (Brazil), being possible to relate the academic monitoring with the teaching internship, also related to the concept of teaching identity,  which has in its methodology a sampling of the universe of former monitors during the initial training of teachers to characterize the construction of an identity initiated in the completion of subjects related to teaching, such as didactics, and that impact the initial actions of the teacher in professional practice, both in the undergraduate course and in the academic master's degree. The study refers to the possible relations between the academic monitoring, the teaching internship and the "construction" of a teaching identity and, from collective didactics, in which the academic monitoring in the initial formation and the understanding of the role of the teaching intern, in a participative and critical way in the process of knowledge construction and of a professional identity.
