Megaherbivores provide biotic resistance against alien plant dominance

These dataset are associated to the paper 'Megaherbivores provide biotic resistance against alien plant dominance' (Mungi et al. 2023). The dataset are resulted from a large-scale intensive biodiversity assessment conducted across tropical ecosystems in India, using various methods like camera trapping and vegetation inventory. Present data covers 12 ecoregions in India at the resolution of 5x5 km grids. Every record represent such grids across ecoregions, for which data on native and non-native plants and relative abundance of megaherbivore species is averaged. Other information using remote sensing derivatives are provided for modelling purpose.Using these datasets, all the statistical analysis in the paper can be reproduced. The analysis methods are desribed in the paper, while the neccesary codes are provided as data here.
