Dataset associated with "Neural dynamics in the limbic system during male social behaviors"
Description
The upload include Data and matlab codes used in the paper "Neural dynamics in the limbic system during male social behaviors" published in Neuron 2023.
1. Multi-fiber recording data stored as MATLAB Data (MFP-ERa-GCXX represents data from one animal. Other matrix are index files). Once you download MFP-ERa-GCXX.mat file, you could open them in matlab. The main variable (as a structure) that saves the recording is called "Raw". Each day of recording is saved in the field with the date, e.g. "r200716". Inside of this file, you can find the subfield named "Lfold", which contains the raw data from 13 recorded regions. The behavior annotation is saved in "Fstart", "Fstop" and "behaviors". Fstart refers to the staring frame of the behavior. Fstop refers to the stop frame. Behavior is the type of annotated behavior. "t" time stamps of each video frame. "FL" sampling frequency". Note that the behavior video and MFP video are synchronized and thus have the same number of frames. The name of the brain region is saved in Raw.regions.
