This article aims to present the main topics in the Basic Text of the XVI National Eucharistic Congress, in order to contribute as a subsidiary material for studies or queries concerning this topic. It means to approach remarkable aspects of the three chapters of this text, aiming to highlight the role of the Eucharist in the human-divine relationship, be it in the individual (Eucharist-man), communitarian (Eucharist- community) or sociocultural (Eucharist-society) scope.
