Description

The subject of the study is socio–economic factors of formation of the labor potential of agricultural
enterprises.
The purpose of the study is to investigate the influence of socio–economic factors on the
formation of the labor potential of agrarian enterprises.
Research methods. The work uses the dialectical method of scientific knowledge, the method of
analysis and synthesis, the comparative method, and the method of summarizing data.
Work results. The paper presents socio–economic problems of the development of Ukrainian
villages and rural areas. The most important socio–economic factors of the formation and development
of the labor potential of agrarian enterprises are determined. The dependence of employment of
agricultural enterprises of Ukraine on the level of the average monthly wage is considered.
Conclusions. The most important socio–economic factors in the formation and development of
the labor potential of agrarian enterprises include: the level of material well–being of the villagers, the
living conditions of the rural population, the state of their health and the level of working capacity, the
development of culture, education and sports in the village, the level of trade and household service
to the peasants. The closest connection to the employment of agricultural enterprises is found in the
development of social infrastructure, such as the provision of rural settlements with paramedics and
midwives, children's preschools and club facilities. The level of aggregate income of rural households,
the level of provision of secondary schools in rural settlements, and the specific weight of the rural
population in the composition of the existing population of the region is significantly influenced on the
formation of the labor potential of the agrarian sector of the economy. Providing settlements with
general educational institutions is an important prerequisite for the reproduction of the labor potential
of the agricultural sector in the long term.
